I think a lot about Lucemon from Digimon World Re:digitize: Decoded and Digimon World: Next Order because neither are technically evil, at least not intentionally.

Spoilers, if you haven't checked out the games, I guess?

Decoded Lucemon is pretty much a little kid that got seperated by it's gaurdian and friend angemon and kidnapped by Barbamon (most likely the very same one you confront with Rina in Cyber Sleuth, yep...). Lucemon, along with several other unfortunate digimon, was tortured and experimented by Barabamon and left for dead calling for help in a bolted prison cell until the protagonist breaks it open only to see him succum to his injuries. This results in the child Lucemon's digicore being overcome by malice and turning to Falldown Mode. Barbamon adds insult to injury by continuing to brainwash Lucemon FM to the point where he's become a mindless killing machine. Eventually, it digivolves into Lucemon SM and almost destroys both the digital world and the real world. After it's defeated, Lucemon's (rookie/child level) spirit thanks you for stopping it, says that everything should return to normal on its own, and the spirit returns home. Needless to say, Lucemon's circumstances in De:code is kinda horrifying and Barbamon is the worst.

And then there is -Next 0rder-'s Lucemon who is arguably the most chill Lucemon so far (both figuratively and literally, you meet him in an ice dungeon during post-game content). Many, if not all, of the digimon who were initially introduced in Digimon lore and animes as villains are a lot more laid-back and sometimes down right friendly in-game and some don't need to fight you in order for them to become your ally (It's kinda refreshing, really). The Lucemon here is no different, and in-fact takes a very unique interest in the protagonist, first approching you as a rookie to tell you that they've been watching you since the begining of your journey, and then challenging you in FM and later SM, albiet asking the player some philisophical questions over "what defines good and evil" to either test, startle, or just confuse the protag. Once the fighting is done Lucemon confirms that it's not the protagonist's strength that defines them as a force of good but rather the their perserverence and conviction. They also start talking in a more casual tone with you and join the city where you've been recruiting a whole bunch of other digimon to live in. They also help you out in a DLC quest with Beezlebumon, which is pretty neat!

Can't rememer if this is correct but I believe Next 0rder Lucemon also keeps track of your in-game movements. From wins and loses, money earned, traversed areas?, etc.

Ok a few HCs about DigiDad Kafka

•After his transformation into Kaiju No.8 Kafka can no longer use any computer because all that will come up are pop ups for single Mons in his area, no matter what computer he uses.

•Bearmon now calls Kikoru their little sister(not to her face) because it's made clear that Dad(Kafka) accidentally adopted another human child, the first one being Reno who gotten used to be called little brother by the rookies since the rookie digimon got adopted first.

•The idea I had for powerscaling in the crossover was, Honju and Champions are equal for a most part but I do like the idea of a 6.0 or higher kaiju being the cap for Champions. Meanwhile Ultimates are similar to higher level kaiju with only highly powerful numbered kaiju being a threat to them. Mega Digimon are really outside the curve for even numbered kaiju because they're are basically gods then.

•I had in mind for the Bearmon digivolution to save Kikoru being similar to the Greymon scene from the first Digimon movie, the "I'm Greymon now"

You can blame a curious Datamon for why Kafka can't use any computer. The fella wonders what a union between a Digimon and this peculiar human could bring. Kafka ditched his computer when a GranDracmon admirer nearly yoinked him but a jealous Cherubimon Good fries the device from the inside with a Heavenly Thunder.

Reno definitely didn't expect being called 'Little Brother' but could see the four Digimon's logic to the whole thing. I can only imagine how embarrassed Bearmon would be if he accidentally calls Kikoru 'Little Sister'. He just hides in Kafka's phone and hopes she forgets this ever happened. (She doesn't.)

Champions and Ultimates definitely were my only concern in the power rankings when compared to Kaiju. Rare instances such as Lucemon, Skullgreymon or Gammamon is something I also factored in too. Kaiju are ranked with the similar type of scale used for earthquakes due to their destructive nature.

I honestly compare Bearmon's Digivolution to one of those cutscenes from Digimon Survive where the evolved Digimon just stands before their respective partner. (No, I haven't played Survive and just binge the spoilers instead.) The "I'm Greymon" definitely is iconic enough to fit too.

So I've been getting into digimon over the last year and being a life long fan of pokemon my mind naturally went to (if I could have any digimon as my partner who'd I pick) but while thinking of such a thing I naturally came across digimon that I nore anyone else should or even could tame so allow me to regale thee with the 5 Digimon would could never tame

5. Appmon any Appmon

Im sorry but you live in a world where digimon are real and you choose an Appmon then your either dedicated or dumb the only reason you could never raise one of these is cus the roast sessions would be disgusting I'm sorry but if you tell me you have a Raidramon and show up with anything but the blue dog it is on sight I'm talking Kike Aliodas type shit the only reason I could see for anyone raising an Appmon is as an April fools joke telling a random Resercher you found Gaiamon just to show em the the pound land version from the last 3 episodes of Appmon

4. Any and all Humanoid Digimon

Ok so Digimon are at their roots digital pets so they need to be trained washed fed and even taken to the bathroom like normal pets yea no I'm not doing that with Angewomon "now now good sire I a TRUE gentleman would gladly escort a poor Angewomon to the laboratory if she was in need of such help" yea that's great and all but I'm not doing that for Piedmon I know some of are degenerates amd would gladly clean up LadyDevimons poo while she insults you but not me I don't care how cool Gankoomon is or how hot Lilithmon is I am not cleaning up a grown human beings poo

3. Millenniumon

Well well only half way through the list and we have our first solo digimon and uh Millenniumon it's kinda obvious why a God of destruction wouldn't be as good a pet as a Terrier and I know some of you are saying "but I am a level 78 Paladin with a +35 Holy Katana with an A scaling in both Faith and Int as well as a B scaling in Dex so a lowly Millenniumon would be nothing before myself " and that's great for you and your Angewomon but from a pure resources point of view its not happening Millenniumon is made of 2 digimon who are both Chimeric abominations and would require

2 metalgreymon 1 SkullGreymon 1 Greymon 1 Garurumon 1 Kuwagamon 1 Kabuterimon 1 Monochromon 1 Airdramon 1 Angemon 2 MetalMamemon 1 Mega/Gigadramon and an Andromon and I'm not even sure that's all of them it's just to resource intensive and not worth the time

Sure he might be your favourite Digimon and I can respect that the moderator of the Royal knights discord is awesome but he comes with the slight Caveat of Death-Xmon the guys who can only be killed by killing Alphamon and Vice Versa so its kinda a waste of time like sure you got a strong ass Digimon but either the shadow of his existence destroys the world or he dies trying the stop him so yea it's kind of a waste of time to try .....at least Oryuken has a cool sword

Digimon Ocs / Digifake !! Name Etherealis Lucemon Varient

Info:

Etherealis is a lucemon who has no memories of his past and spent a majority of his life not being able to digivolve past Rookie Level. In the past he was raised by a Piddomon and a Venusmon but due to losing his memories he does not remember them.

In Training 2:

Rookie: As a Rookie he is very childish, and self-centered. He hides the fact that he cares for others. Without his memories he’s not able to fight as well as he could but holds the power of a digimon who is in Champion level.

Champion: This form is known as Protector Mode. Only available to Etherealis after he gets a few of his memories back. This form holds the Crest of Humility and will go out of its way to protect others. The weapon he holds in his hand is a Spear made from Piddomons data.

Ultimate: Known as Vengeful Mode. Once Etherealis gains all of his memories he is able to reach Ultimate level. This form holds the Code Key of Pride. Since he is so Prideful, he doesn’t mind showing his opponents his weak point which is the Orb in his stomachs mouth. He doesnt mind biting though so dont try to grab it.. its a trick
